Composura

Terms of Service

Effective 23 August 2026 · Last updated 23 August 2026

Composura is a rehearsal app for difficult workplace conversations. These terms are the agreement between you and us about using it. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Composura is practice, not professional advice. It is not counselling, therapy, legal advice, or HR guidance, and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. What you decide to say in a real conversation, and what follows from it, is yours.

What the app does

You pick a scenario and a difficulty, type what you would say, and a simulated counterpart pushes back. At the end you get a scorecard on the words you used. The counterpart's replies and the scorecard are generated by a language model. They are a rehearsal aid — they can be wrong, they are not a prediction of how a real person will react, and they are not an assessment of you or of anyone you write about.

Using it reasonably

You agree not to:

We may suspend access that is abusive, automated, or driving costs in bad faith.

Free use and subscriptions

Composura is free to use with a limited number of rehearsals and a single scenario. A premium subscription unlocks every scenario, every difficulty, unlimited rehearsals, and full history.

If we change prices, the change applies to renewals after you have been notified, never retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Your content

What you type stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not publish it, and we do not use it to train any model. It is stored on your device and sent to our service only to produce the counterpart's reply and your scorecard — see the privacy policy for the detail. There is no need to include real names; the rehearsal works just as well without them.

The app itself — its code, design, scenarios, and scoring rubric — remains ours.

Availability

Composura depends on a network service and a third-party model provider, so it will sometimes be slow or unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. If we retire the app, we will say so in advance and stop charging for it.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

Composura is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including any outcome of a real conversation you rehearsed here, or any employment consequence of it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app; cancel any subscription in your store settings first. We may end your access if you materially breach these terms. The sections on your content, warranties, and liability survive.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Composura after that means you accept the revised terms.
