Composura

Privacy Policy

Effective 23 August 2026 · Last updated 23 August 2026

Composura is a rehearsal app for difficult workplace conversations. You practise by typing what you would say, and you get a scorecard on your own words. This policy explains what happens to that text and to everything else the app touches.

There is no account. Composura never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or employer. Nothing you write is tied to an identity, because we do not hold one.

What stays on your device

Your rehearsal history — the scenarios you chose, the lines you typed, the counterpart's replies, and your scorecards — is stored in a local database on your phone. It is not uploaded, backed up to our servers, or readable by us. Deleting the app deletes it.

What leaves your device

To keep a conversation in character and to grade it, the app sends the text of the current rehearsal to our own service, which forwards it to a language model provider. Each request carries only:

We do not store the conversation text on our service after the reply is returned, and it is not used to train any model. Write about real situations, but there is no need to include real names — the rehearsal works just as well without them.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and Google Play and managed with RevenueCat, which tells the app whether your subscription is active. Payment happens entirely inside Apple's or Google's systems. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, or payment details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we use OneSignal to send occasional reminders to practise before a real conversation. That requires a device push token — not an email address or phone number. Turn notifications off in your system settings and the reminders stop.

Children

Composura is built for working adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Not advice

Composura is practice, not counselling, therapy, legal advice, or HR guidance. Scorecards are generated feedback on the words you typed and nothing more.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the effective date at the top and note the change in the app before it takes effect.
